Ilya Dudin

For more than 10 years, Ilya has been specializing in projects in the field of legal organization of construction using various forms of formalizing relations between the parties (“classic” contracts and EPC contracts) and sources of financing (money from private investors and funds allocated under PPP). He has successful experience in participating in the largest foreign direct investment law competition Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (2014, California) and has published in major Russian scientific journals.

He is fluent in English.

The experience gained during this time both as an internal inhouse lawyer and as an employee in a major legal consulting company allows Ilya to:

• understand business needs and ensure effective communication with it;
• structure major capital construction projects (including PPP projects) and thereby minimize the risks of future litigation;
• assess the risks of concluding transactions in relation to land plots, as well as business, industrial and other buildings during the due diligence procedure and take them into account when preparing draft agreements;
• advise clients on complex issues related to the application of urban planning legislation.

The combination of solid practical experience and fundamental theoretical training allows Ilya to understand project risks and manage them competently, rather than limit himself to resolving specific legal issues.

These qualities allowed him to successfully support a number of investment projects with a total investment of more than 200 billion rubles, as well as to accumulate a rich portfolio across the entire spectrum of contractual regulation of relations in the field of urban development and real estate turnover.
